Weekend Recap

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting FBL of Fuzzylicious Thinking, Saturday night, (link in the sidebar) along with Merrilee Carlson, of Families United, www.familiesunited.com Merrilee's son Army Sgt. Michael Carlson, drowned in a rollover accident in Iraq Jan-24-2005 along with most of his Squad. She formed the above named organization to help support the troop's after his death.

Both of these Lady's are an Inspiration to me.

This was also the first time I have been privileged to meet up in "MeatSpace" anybody whom I have only known through the Internet.

On the in processing process, today I took and passed the WABI test, again (workplace attitude and behavior inventory) and had my chopper's checked out at the Dentist, two caries to be filled on Wednesday, and the obligatory lecture on flossing. Damn I hate getting my teeth worked on.

On a seperate note, I have installed a site counter, and have been checking out where my traffic is coming from.

Y'all don't be shy, please feel free to leave a comment or a simple Howdy, ifin that'll do ya!

How very fortunate you are, Unkawill, to have had the opportunity to meet FBL and Merrilee who are an inspiration to so many in "blogland". They are remarkable ladies, indeed.

On a separate note, the site-counter is a good thing to have. There appear to be many trolls around, so it's always good to know from whence they came...or from under what rock.

Lastly, but not leastly, a great big "Howdy!" to you in Texas, sir! Keep well, and if that's not possible keep dry...or safe...or happy...whatever.

Veritas et Fidelis Semper

Deborah, you are so sweet!

Thank you for your kind words.

I havn't had a troll problem as of yet, and don't anticipate any,as I'm not into denigrating (much) other's political opinion's, at least on this site.

Dry,Safe and Happy, That's me!

You'd be surprised at what brings out the trolls. I did a post a few months ago about the dedication of a Native American Memorial about the Sand Creek massacre. Brought out a troll who lectured me on the history of Native Americans. This despite the fact that part of my post acknowledged my own Native American heritage...

Trolls don't always equal politics, unfortunately.

That said - a big ole New England "Hey there"!!!
